All solders are guaranteed to hold for the life of the frame. We use the highest quality silver solder when repairing your frame. In addition, we buff all repairs so that discoloration is reduced.
You should know that most repaired metal frames show some sign of the repair. However, to reduce evidence of your frame's repair AFO touches up color frames to help blend the original color with the repair. For frames with plastic trim near the solder point, a heat shield is used to protect and reduce the risk of burn on the plastic.

In shipping your frames to AFO please do the following:
bulletPut your glasses in an eyeglass case (if available)
bulletPack the eyeglasses in a small box with sufficient protective wrapping
bulletInclude in the box your Name, Address, and contact Phone Number
bulletInclude your payment in the form of a money order or call us (940-325-9441) with a credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)
bulletPersonal checks are accepted if the return address matches the address on the check

To determine the approximate price of your repair work, use the price list below, shipping will be added to return your eyeware. If you do not know what services will be required to repair your frame, make certain you have included your contact information with your shipment. After we receive and inspect your frames, we will contact you with the repair quote. If your frame is under one year old, it is probably still under warranty and any repair will void manufactures warranty.
